10 Jan Arlington Garden Pasadena + New Headshots
What a beautiful January day it was here in California last Saturday, 1/2/15. My friend Leanne Bishara and I got together to shoot a few photos for my blog that I will be sharing with you all today, some beautiful headshots out in the Arlington Garden in Pasadena, CA. I found out that Pasadena has a website dedicated to the garden, which you can find here.
And above is the photo I have chosen to use for my headshot. I know it isn’t a typical minimalistic headshot photo, but I really think that its inclusion of a fruit tree embodies who I am.
After having some fun in the kitchen, Leanne Bishara and I relocated to Arlington Garden in Pasadena, CA. We both had never been to the location, and we did not know what to expect, but it was the PERFECT location. The garden was filled with orange trees, I believe of various varieties, that is open for the public to pick! I’m so grateful to be living through a winter here in California. It was warm, breezy, and felt like a fall day in winter.

Aaaand here I am struggling to pick an orange. For some reason, it wouldn’t come off of the tree! It was hilarious and I’m glad that Leanne captured this moment.
By the way, we definitely brought the wrong basket to the gardens. We had no idea that there were going to be citrus trees, and we had planned for me to pick a few flowers to collect. This all took extreme caution and stillness, and it worked…sort of. The orange fell about half a dozen times but we got some shot in that worked 😉 
Of course I had to get some shots in of my Green Juice Tote from my shop. I am officially sold out of them, THANK YOU ALL! I’m not too sure whether or not to bring them back, so comment below if you’d like me to <3
