CRSSD Music Festival + Vegan in San Diego, CA

CRSSD Music Festival + Vegan in San Diego, CA

Chris and I will be heading back into San Diego, CA for CRSSD Music Festival this year! We were in San Diego in January on a family trip (if you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen these posts linked below), and although we will only be in SD for the day, I’m pumped to be back!CRSSD2015_1010_182112-5323_GSTPhoto by Gabe Tiano

San Diego is absolutely beautiful! The weather, the views, the community, oh and ALL THEM VEGAN OPTIONS (that’s the most important part, right?).CRSSD2015_1010_130137-5213_SAG (1)

CRSSD is a Spring/Fall, 21+ festival taking place at Waterfront Park, on the Bay of San Diego. AND of course, the highlight of it all is that they have VEGAN OPTIONS 🙂 From both their food and beer vendors. CRSSD has also revealed a compilation of hand-picked music from artists playing the festival. The compilation, distributed by International House Of Sound, will include music from ODESZA, Jamie Jones, Gorgon City, Hot Since 82, J.Phlip, Tiga, Sacha Robotti, Skylar Spence, Will Clarke, and Colour Vision. The CRSSD compilation will be available digitally February 19th, with limited physical copies sold on-site at the festival.

Oh, and there are so many vegan options at the event! They are marked below with a green leaf:12803238_1257357227614659_3673935605058648280_n 12801659_1257217107628671_4289142784162299262_nIt is amazing to see how accommodating almost everything is! I used to fear going out to music festivals, sports arena events, concerts, etc. back when I first went vegan (2012) because options were always very limited or just unappealing to me, and although I was able to pack food and/or eat beforehand, I felt it took away from the experience. Being able to attend events with no worry and be a part of the social aspect of it all in entirety with my friends makes the event much more enjoyable and memorable all at once 🙂

The last time Chris and I took a road trip down to San Diego, we visited:

And our to-do list still includes:

  • CRSSD Music Festival, of course 🙂
  • Bar Kindred
  • Moncai Vegan Cafe for classic comfort food.
  • Sipz has cool desserts and Sushi
  • Plumeria for their “flower cups” and vegan thai food
  • Tiger Tiger
  • Donut Panic
  • To name a few, there are SO MANY MORE!

Hopefully we have some time before or after the festival to hit some of these places up!CRSSDFEST_PHASE2_FINALTickets are on sale now at www.crssdfest.com, and if you are able to visit during March 5 or 6, please come out! And if you see me, come and say hello <3 CRSSD2015_1010_125916-4155_GSTPhoto by Gabe Tiano
