04 Jun Farmer’s Market Green Juice
Sundays are always one of my favorite days of the week because Sundays are when I visit my local Farmer’s Market.
If you live in the LA Area, I hope you have been to the Hollywood Farmer’s Market. It is the largest Farmer’s Market I go to, and it is the best one if I may say so myself. Yes, since it is huge and in the heart of LA it can get a bit crazy, but if you go early it’s bearable (and easier to find parking!). For a while I was taking Cycleates classes then heading to the market right after since it is on the same block. It’s was a fun routine but my groupon ended and I’m not ready to invest in full priced pilates with my student budget! They have fresh juices and raw vegan breakfasts and salads perfect post workout, along with all of the yummy fruit and veggies as well.
This week I purchased only veggies at the Farmer’s Market. I usually stock up on Fuji Apples (my fav!), but I had a lot (along with other fruit) at home from a weekday market visit. I posted a photo of my veggies on my Instagram, and just look how pretty it is! Raw fruits and veggies are vibrant and full of LIFE, and I will never get over or stop appreciating the beauty of it all.
I came home with all of this *ORGANIC* F A R M F R E S H G O O D N E S S: German butterball potatoes, red radishes, globe eggplant, lacinato kale, carrots, golden beets, a green bell pepper, round courgettes, baby broccoli, endives and romaine lettuce.
Show yourself love by nourishing your body everyday. Choose health, and make it an ongoing priority in your life!
