Chai Tai Smoothie // The Blender Girl Smoothies + Giveaway

I’m excited to share that my good friend Tess Masters, The Blender Girl, has recently released her newest book, The Blender Girl Smoothies. This book if filled with 100 different smoothie recipes using herbs, spices, greens, oils, and superfood combinations that will take you on a flavor journey that I can honestly say you have never been on before 😉 Healthy smoothies that look gorgeous, taste amazing, and offer big nutritional bang-for-your-buck, could you ask for anything more?SSVBLENDER0935I still remember the first day I met Tess. I had attended the the Kitchen Aid Torrent Blender Launch Party that Melissa’s Produce held in their Los Angeles test kitchen last November, and while my friend Yvonne and I were eating and photographing our food (the usual), a bright and bubbly individual, Tess Masters, came up to us in admiration of my Green Juice Tote Bag, I was flattered! We hit it off from there, and I even was able to get a few pointers from her when we began creating smoothies in the kitchen later on that evening.

I have since then gotten to know and grow with Tess at various events here in the Los Angeles area, and I could not wish anything less than success for her and her new release. Tess was a blogger long before I was ever interested in making it a part of my life, and to see her evolve into a now cookbook author has been not only inspirational, but motivating for me all at the same time. Her recipes have helped spark creativity in both my kitchen and my blog, driving me to think outside of the box and work towards goals I never before would have dreamed of considering.SSVBLENDER0881This smoothie is a creamy, spice-y, and, as Tess put it, “will make you weak in the knees”.
