Easy Oil-Free Vegan Brunch + Healthy Gift Basket Ideas!

Easy Oil-Free Vegan Brunch + Healthy Gift Basket Ideas!

During the holiday season, my two friends Amanda and Loe came over for a girl’s brunch, so I decided to show you all what we put together and also the gifts I put together for them to give you ideas for your loved ones, or yourself 😉 What I wanted to do is put together gift baskets that were practical and useful to them both, consisting of healthy vegan treats! I also included square bars, as I did not have an oil-free option on hand, but scroll down below and I share 2 I think you should check out <3Here is the full brunch spread that we had, all of it is summarized below the video 🙂 It is always comforting to be around people who hold the same outlook and ideals as you, especially in the vegan community. Loe and Amanda and I all have similar tastes in food, and we put together a spread that each and every one of us loved.

First was fresh squeezed OJ! I got a new orange press for my dad (well, for me too) for Christmas, and it is a lifesaver! It makes juicing so much easier and more accessible to us 🙂

Sourdough topped with mashed avocado, fresh dill and tomatoes. If you have not already tried dill on avocado toast, go do it, NOW! It is a whole new level of YUM.Sourdough bread, plain and one with olives in it which I have to admit was not my favorite but Amanda loved it and Loe and I were able to dig into the plain 🙂Perfectly baked sweet potatoes + a simple salad: poke a medium sweet potato and bake on a silicon baking mat at 430F for 60 minutes 🙂Homemade Muesli & Fruit Bowl (GF)

This was inspired by Bonny Rebecca <3

Take 1 cups of gf rolled oats and toss them with 1-2 tbs of maple syrup, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp vanilla bean powder and stevia as desired. Bake in the oven at 350 F in a single layer on a silicon lined baking sheet for 6-8 minutes, or until crunchy. Keep an eye on it!

Put oats into a bowl and top with puffed millet cereal, puffed rice cereal, nut milk, fresh fruit and coconut flakes.

Here are the gift baskets I put together for them, they loved it!

This was a gift Chris and I put together for Alex and Kristen of Mr. and Mrs. Vegan as a belated Christmas/New Year’s present. When giving it to them, we made sure to tell them to “Starch The New Year Right”!
