{Vegan} Male Gift Guide | Father’s Day & Birthday Presents

{Vegan} Male Gift Guide | Father’s Day & Birthday Presents

Chris recently celebrated his 27th birthday (well actually it is today!), so of course I put together a few gifts for him to celebrate. I decided I would share the gifts on my page + an extensive vegan male gift guide for you all in case you need a bit of help in treating a special someone in your life. Father’s Day is just around the corner, so this is definitely going to help ya’ll out!

Let me know if you try any of these out, or if you have any more ideas to share for me to add 🙂

What I Got Chris:

Accessories

>>Lapel Pins

Who knew that these would come back in style! There is a huge selection online, some vegan focused, some not, so there is definitely something for everyone! Here are a few ideas:

>>Watches

I have gifted Chris both my SSV Pineapple Watch (this was last year, though!) and this year I shared a Jord Wood Watch.

WATCHES

  • SSV Pineapple Watches are more of a fun, funky casual look
  • Jord Wooden Watches are classy and perfect for a dressy occasion.
    >>For Chris, I chose the Fieldcrest in Dark Sandalwood. I felt it was classy, and able to be matched with a variety of outfits and occasions. He also has a lot of light wood items, so it was nice to add some spice to his style.
  • + You can use the discount code: J16sweetsimplevegan20  for $20 off until 6/19 🙂

>>Wallet

  • There are a variety of brands you can choose from, but I got Chris the Brighton Bi-Fold from Vegan Collection last year and he loves it!

Gift Boxes & Baskets

Of course this has to be included in this round up cause Chris LOVES to eat. Really though, sometimes I can’t believe how much he eats, where does it all go?! Anyways, here are a few ideas for munchin’ on 😛

1. Vegan Cuts Snack Box

2. DIY Snack Box

  • All you need to do is purchase a cute box (or make one of your own) and fill it with the person’s favorite vegan snacks or frequently used ingredients.
  • For discounted items check out the Vegan Cuts Marketplace and Thrive Market.

3. Produce Basket

  • Purchase a cute box or basket (or recycle one/DIY) and fill it with the person’s favorite produce items or produce that is seasonal in local to you, from places such as a farmer’s market.
  • You can also pick out produce and put little notes on each, saying why you chose that ingredient or why it reminds you of the person.
  • Fill the box with specific ingredients and attach a recipe card for the person’s favorite recipe and an “rsvp” phone number (yours) to set a date for you two to cook the recipe together.

4. Vegan Cuts Men’s Box

Health & Wellness

1. Prana Mat ECO

  • A therapeutic manual massage mat  to relieve minor muscle aches and pains. Chris has been struggle with back issues for a few months now, and we haveh onestly tried EVERYTHING for relief, but nothing seems to work. I saw this ma all over Instagram, and after seeing it on Henya’s snapchat, I was sold. I emailed the owner of the company to get more information on its use and guarantee, and he ensured that it is part of a holistic approach to health that empowers you to recharge and feel revitalized. Just a few minutes each day is supposed to help, so we are going to test it out and hopefully provide him with the aid he has needed!

2. Yoga Mat

I know that you could easily get your hands on a cheap yoga mat from a Target or TJ Maxx, but after investing in a higher quality yoga mat, I would reccomend them 100%. Why? Well…

  • I honestly have felt more of a drive to practice because I want to get my moneys worth, and it is so much more comfortable on my hands.
  • You’ll save money: it costs more upfront, but it’s durable and made from high-quality materials so it will last longer — it means buying one mat instead of five — or more! — in your lifetime.
  • Better for you AND the planet: fewer mats will end up in landfills, and made with natural rubber, a renewable resource and that contains no synthetic plastics.

Chris as a Manduka mat while I have a Jade and we would recommend both 🙂

3. Diffuser

A tool that I have utilized to destress and relax 🙂 It allows for multi-sensory relaxation with essential oil aromas, color ambient light and relaxing music and noises! My favorite essential oil my favorite essential oil is lemongrass 🙂

4. Crystals

Chris got me much more interested in crystals and they helped instill much more positive energy into my life just learning more about them, sharing a new passion with Chris, and connecting with others in my community to learn of their practice and healing properties.

Apparel

>>Fruit & veggie clothing is in right now, and I couldn’t happier! I originally wanted to get him a watermelon tee I saw online, but after not being able to locate it, I went on the Forever 21 website and first searched “watermelon” but after not seeing what I wanted, I searched “pineapple” and BOOM, I scored a pineapple print tee above. I ordered it about a month ago so I am not seeing it on the website anymore, BUT just do what I did and search any fruit name on their site (or honestly any other) and you will score something cute I guarantee!

>>Vegan Apparel brands 🙂 I have tees from all three of these and I would recommend them based on quality and satisfaction of course.

Gratitude Journal

I have already mentioned this various times on my blog and youtube channel, but I highly recommend the interactive journal Start Where You Are.

A gratitude journal is simply one where you write all things that you are grateful for each day, along with any other positive thoughts or feelings of your choice. You fill it with good thoughts and intentions, and in the future you can reflect back on it. Chris and I were interested in starting gratitude journals, and this paperback was calling our names. This book is an interactive journal of self-exploration and takes it to the next level. It is a reminder to take time to get to know ourselves, explore our dreams, and set positive intentions in our lives so that we can achieve what we desire. Each page has either thought provoking and inspiring quotes, prompts/exercises/activities to inspire us to think in different ways and reflect on different aspects of our lives and days.

We found ours on amazon, but it may be available at your local book store as well.

A card or letter written from the heart 🙂

I found a peach card while Chris and I were on our camping trip. He thought it was the cutest thing, so I secretly bought it while he was in the restroom and surprised him with it after we had gotten back, with a cute love not inside of course.

I actually came across a good selection on Cafe Press if you are in need of some ideas!
