Vegan Graham Cracker Granola (oil-free w/ gluten-free option) sweetsimplevegan.com A guilt-free way for you to enjoy a classic childhood favorite. I encourage you to serve this with anything you would an average granola <3 My favorites are on my 2-ingredient cacao banana ice cream and zucchini oatmeal! As I type this, I had a brilliant idea!! Cacao banana ice cream topped with vegan marshmallows and this granola...I must try it! Vegan Graham Cracker Granola (oil-free w/ gluten-free option) sweetsimplevegan.com

Date-Sweetened Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread (oil-, gluten- & refined sugar-free) sweetsimplevegan.com Moist, creamy, pumpkin-y AND still healthy AF ;) Yuppp, another bread recipe for you guys because you seem to love baked goodies as much as I do ;) I decided to veganize AND health-ify a classic recipe I see every fall, and I am so so pleased with the outcome. Not only is this bread moist, but it is perfectly sweet + creamy from the cream cheese! Adding cream cheese, nut butters, etc. is common practice for a lot of people when enjoying bread, so why not have the two already married into one? ❤️

Vegan Carrot Lox (oil-free) sweetsimplevegan.com #oilfree #carrotlox #vegan #sweetsimplevegan #veganloxThe absolute perfect way to enjoy your Sunday brunch? Bagels and lox, of course. This carrot lox will actually blow your mind, and you will not miss out on anything, I promise. Chris and I have served this to many MANY nonvegans, and vegans as well, and it was a hit all around. Vegan Carrot Lox (oil-free) sweetsimplevegan.com #oilfree #carrotlox #vegan #sweetsimplevegan #veganloxThe inspiration for attempting this dish in my kitchen was my friend Ted (@wokwikside). Ted had invited ChrisYvonne and I over for brunch last September (wow, a year ago, how crazy!), and while there, Ted served us a plethora of homemade recipes, including vegan lox.

My favorite item at Sunday brunch growing up -- french toast! Not only does this recipe no longer require eggs, it does not have to be fried, either. Want to know my secret to the PERFECT low fat vegan french toast? BANANAS! This past weekend, Chris and I took an impromptu trip to Big Bear, CA to spend the Fourth of July weekend with my family and enjoy the festivities held at the lake. My mom surprised us with homemade bread on Saturday morning and Chris had a brilliant idea -- let's make french toast!

Cacao Pitaya Protein Smoothie Bowl w/ Oil-Free Granola | sweetsimplevegan.comI got my hands on some frozen pitaya packs, and one of my go-to recipes with it is these smoothie bowls. Not only do I love pitaya for it's beautiful color, but it has a slightly tart flavor that is a good change from the typical acai bowl. The best part of putting a smoothie bowl together is the toppings...and I know I'm not alone here! Not only do they make the dish beautiful and insta-worthy, they also allow for you to have fun and customize the bowl as you choose. Some days all I want on top is fresh fruit and coconut shavings, but others I am in need of a crunch, and reach for things like granola, cacao nibs and dried white mulberries.

TIP: add toppings below AND on top of your smoothie bowl.

This way, you are guaranteed some of the toppings in every bite!

Easy Crunchy Granola {gluten- & oil-free} | sweetsimplevegan.comCrunchy, chunky AND oil-free? Could this be true? I needed to find an easy go-to granola recipe that I could start making weekly for my home, as I started making smoothie bowls almost daily that the temperature has shot up here in LA! My combos vary based on what I have in the kitchen, but I got my hands on some frozen pitaya packs, and a frequent recipe lately has been this Cacao Pitaya Protein Smoothie Bowl (below), and you can find that full recipe here.
