Halloween Oreo Cat Cupcakes26Cupcakes + cats? Count me in. I grew up with oreo cupcake cats every halloween, it was our Briones family holiday tradition. So much so that everyone at school would expect it at our yearly celebrations, and boy did we make sure to always deliver ;) The source of this recipe? A good old Nabisco Oreo Box from when I was about 2 years old. Really, this started about 20 years ago, it's really hard to believe. Unfortunately, we misplaced the original recipe cutout that my mom had saved all of these years, but the memory is so vivid in my mind that it was no longer needed to recreate this treat. The original recipe used a prepackaged frosting and cupcake mix, artificial orange stuffed oreos, candy corn, licorice, jelly beans and, well, very unhealthy ingredients. But you guys know me, I had to healthy this up before sharing. Using my homemade healthy oreos, vegan chocolate cupcake + chocolate avocado frosting recipes, homemade candy corn and dried fruit, I successfully made it happen. Halloween Oreo Cat Cupcakes50Th

Spirulina Bentonite Clay MaskAfter going vegan 3 years ago, not only have I now grown aware of the foods I am putting into my body, but my awareness has evolved to see that I also must be concerned with what I put onto my body as well. When I first went vegan, or "vegan" if I should put it, I was only vegan in terms of the food I was orally ingesting. I did not clear out my closet of non vegan products and I did not consider that my beauty and hygeine products, including makeup, shampoo, and face masks, could definitely not be vegan. In fact, about half of what I owned did not have the "this product was not tested on animals" assurance.

Instead of tossing your papaya seeds after eating the fruit, make use of them! A lot of people don't know that you can actually use the Papaya Seeds. There are tons of recipes online, which utilize the ingredient for its peppery flavor. Give it a try! You can dry the seeds and use them just as you would peppercorns. Or, make a face mask! This is super simple, and you only need 2 ingredients. Raw Vegan Papaya Seed & Coconut Oil Facial sweetsimplevegan.com

I seriously think that David is a genius and I would only overload you with something that I truly enjoy! I have gotten a lot of positive reviews on my account when posting of the tool, so it was only fitting that I shared it on my blog as well, to reach those who are not on Instagram and  stumble across this post.

Easy DIY Cat Collar (Minimal Sewing)In June, I got a new kitty! Her name is Goji and she is the cutest little thing. And I am not being biased, she is adorable! When I started to look for a collar for her, I could not find one in any cute fruit/vegetable prints that I was envisioning. I sat down on my computer, searched etsy and picked a few out, but then I got to thinking: if these people could make these little collars, why can't I? I found a few tutorials (sourced below), ordered the hardware I needed ($1.80!), got my supplies together and made a collar! This tutorial is really simple and can be done in a matter of 15 minutes.
