THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS HERE :) Regardless of which holiday you celebrate, this Vegan Braided Cream Cheese & Jam Danish + the Mint Chocolate Chip Cake and Almond & Cinnamon Marshmallow Treats shared below are all calling for a spot at your table ???? I'm so excited to have been able to collaborate once again with Ahnest Veggie and Yvonne's Vegan Kitchen to bring you all 3 must try vegan recipes for your holiday table! We delivered some awesome recipes for Thanksgiving, and I promise you these are nothing less! A vegan danish, come on, you should already be sold on that!

Protein Chocolate Chips61I threw together a random recipe for breakfast, and it was too good for me not to blog about. So what did I do? I made it again for lunch so that I could share it with all of you ;) This recipe only requires a few ingredients, and is actually good for you, as opposed to the dairy, fat-filled, cruelty-filled ice cream at the supermarket. I listed this recipe as a dessert, but it is high carb, low fat, and mostly raw, so I say eat this whenever the heck you want. Really, do it!

watermelonSummer makes me lazy at times, so much that I have been showing my blender all the love and neglecting my poor little juicer. I can't help it, I really really dislike washing the juicer! I always end up getting splashed with water even when I try to prevent it. Plus all of the pieces that need to be clean seem like a hassle, so I turn to my blender! But I must say, I don't mean to use this as anything against my juicer. It's the best juicer I've ever had and is so efficient in that it is slow juicing, extracts maximum amount of juice and is not loud at all. I use a Omega VRT350 Juicer and a Vitamix 6300. I have a list of What's In My Kitchen if ever you are interested in what I normally eat/use.

Rolls and Sauce Today I am going to share a recipe that I love because of the fact that it is so versatile and actually really fun to make. All you need is a blender/food processor, a knife, a cutting board and a bowl of water. I suggest laying out all of the ingredients and letting everyone that is going to join you for dinner make their own rolls. It is a chance for you to connect with others on a level far different from how you would during a normal day-to-day conversation. Connection with others, I have learned, is a large part of living your health. You get the chance to share yourself and what you love, and maybe even open the minds of others to ideas that they had never previously considered. In connecting with others, you not only get the opportunity to learn more about them, but you also get the chance to learn about and connect with yourself. herbs
