Chris and I are hoping to make our trip to Colorado a yearly tradition as it has been two years in a row that we visited and stayed at one of our favorite hotels + saw a show Red Rocks Amphitheater, and it's safe to say we fell in love with it all. With that, we thought it was only fitting to create a "Vegan in Colorado" guide to round up our favorite spots in the area to help you plan your trip if you ever visit :)

St. Julien Hotel | Boulder, CO

We partnered up with the St. Julien Hotel (see last year's post here), and not only worked on a photography project with them, but were also fortunate enough to stay and review the hotel. The hotel is located in a prime spot of Boulder. It is walking distance from Pearl Street (aka Downtown Boulder where it's poppin'), and Chris and I found ourselves there almost every day on our trip. On weekend nights the hotel has live music and dancing, and you can also check out a ton of street performers, live music, and events happening at different restaurants on Pearl St. just a short walk away.

Savory, salty, crunchy and healthy -- what more could you ask for? Finally, a snack that both Chris and I agree on. A problem (I don't know if I should even call it a problem lol) that Chris and I face is our snack choices is that I always want sweet and he always wants savory. Well, I finally crossed over to the savory side because this snack had us both in love at first bite.

Recently, my partner Chris (Conscious Chris) and I headed out on a 12 -Day road trip. You can watch it all on my road trip video playlist on my youtube channel. Along our trip, Chris and I touched down in Boulder, CO for a few days. It was my first time in town, his second, but even with that, there was still so much ground we both had to cover. Fortunately, even with our last minute booking, we were able to score a room at the St. Julien. Especially coming from the various Super 8's and Priceline express deal booked rooms, this whole experience was even more than the paradise we expected it to be.

Chris and I will be heading back into San Diego, CA for CRSSD Music Festival this year! We were in San Diego in January on a family trip (if you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen these posts linked below), and although we will only be in SD for the day, I'm pumped to be back!
