07 Nov Thick Chocolate Pumpkin Smoothie (refined sugar-free + raw option)
Mmmm, I’ve been going a little pumpkin crazy lately but I’m loving every moment of it. I’ve been making my fat-free Vegan Pumpkin Pie Soft Serve quite a lot lately, so I decided one morning that I would spice things up and add in a chocolate kick.
This Thick Chocolate Pumpkin Smoothie recipe is sweet and simple idea that I know you all are going to love!
You can make this smoothie raw if you wanted to as well! Simply replace the pumpkin puree with a chunk of raw pumpkin 🙂 I’d go with 1/2 cup to start, and just add more as needed. Be sure to remove the seeds and skin!
As for the sweetener, I used a medjool date to make it refined sugar-free. You can easily sub in any other sweetener that you’d like, such as stevia or coconut sugar. I suggest using a sweetener because it makes this more reminiscent of a pumpkin pie, yum!
