I had a little fun outside of my kitchen and pulled out my water colors to paint these little guys for a Vegan Valentine's Day celebration this year. You don't have to be vegan to make these of course, but they were inspired by my love for fruit! Requirements? A sense of humor, a smile, and base images to work off of from google. But really, you just need water colors, proper paper (from an art store), water and a brush. These were so easy to do, so simple, and so fun! You can even photocopy the one you create, and print dozens of them on a smaller scale to hand out. My version, both with and without text, are available below each image :) Pear (hehe) these with your valentine's favorite vegan sweets +flowers, and you've got yourself the perfect gift.

It's filled with a plethora of vegatables (and even fruit!) that will allow you to not only enjoy the big game celebration, but also a nutrient-dense snack or meal.Layered Dip4503Layered Dip4472Unique, flavorful and nutrient dense layers, coming right at ya!

Cinnamon Maple Delicata Squash Salad w: Vegan Jackfruit 'Bacon' This recipe stemmed from my attempt to create a recipe to use for the big game coming up here in the U.S., aka the Super Bowl. I asked my dad what he would want to eat at our family get together, and he said bacon. Well, you know what my initial reaction was to that...yuck! So I compromised. I told him that I would use homemade coconut bacon instead. I began googling recipes for a bacon marinade, and got to it. I took out all of my ingredients and then...I realized I had no coconut meat :,(
